Our Nurse Practitioners
Nurse Practitioners are highly trained and licensed to practice medicine. NPs conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventive health care, assist in surgery, and in North Carolina can write prescriptions. Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants are an integral part of geriatric care in North Carolina.
